Solar cover vs safety cover: You need both — one for heat, one for safety

Solar covers trap heat but are flimsy and unsafe for kids or pets. Safety covers support weight but don’t retain heat. If you have drowning risks, buy both: safety cover for winter, solar cover for summer. If not, skip the safety cover.
