Single-channel vs dual-channel memory: Dual-channel nearly doubles memory bandwidth in synthetic benchmarks

Dual-channel gives you roughly 80-95% faster read/write/copy speeds in AIDA64, jumping from ~20GB/s to ~38-40GB/s on typical DDR4-3200. Single-channel runs one 64-bit bus; dual-channel runs two at once. The latency also drops slightly. Capacity (8GB vs 16GB) barely matters here — the difference is almost entirely about channel count.
