Rotomolded coolers (Yeti, Pelican, Engel, ORCA) use thick polyethylene that won’t get brittle and crack below freezing, unlike cheaper injection-molded ones from big box stores. They cost more but are lifetime gear. Just leave room for ice expansion in subzero weather.
