Pumice stone vs vinegar: Different tools for different pool surfaces

For ceramic or porcelain tiles, a wet pumice stone removes calcium without scratching — keep both wet and rub gently. For vinyl liners, never use abrasives; use a 1:1 white vinegar solution with a soft cloth instead. Test on a hidden area first, and for stubborn liner deposits, drain slightly and use a plastic scraper carefully.
