PTFE feet vs ceramic feet on glass mousepads: Ceramic lasts longer but feels scratchier

Hard glass mousepads wear down PTFE feet fast because the glass acts like fine sandpaper against the soft PTFE. Ceramic feet are much harder and don’t wear down nearly as quickly, but they can feel scratchier and louder on glass. If you want the pad to outlast your mouse, go ceramic, but expect a different feel.
