MacBook Air vs MacBook Pro: Low-light camera difference is marginal

Both use the same 1080p sensor on recent M-series models, so hardware is identical. The Pro’s slightly better image signal processor gives marginally brighter, less grainy results in dim light, but neither is good. For M1 vs M2 comparisons, the M1 Air’s 720p camera is noticeably worse. If low-light video matters, get an external webcam instead.
