IP67 vs IPX7 speakers: IP67 is the only choice for sand and saltwater

IPX7 is water-only and sand will wreck the seals over time. IP67 handles submersion and dust, including sand, but saltwater still requires a fresh water rinse after every beach trip. Fabric-covered bodies like the JBL Flip 6 or Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3 are easier to clean than silicone flaps that trap grit.
