Glass mousepad vs ceramic mousepad: Glass is faster but pickier about sensors

Glass gives near-frictionless icy glide but demands good PTFE skates and a sensor that won’t stutter on reflective surfaces. Ceramic is smooth with a bit more texture, but sensor compatibility is basically a non-issue. If you want pure speed and don’t mind upgrading mouse feet, glass wins; if you want fast but fuss-free, go ceramic.
