2x16GB vs 4x8GB RAM: Two sticks win for stability and speed
Two sticks are easier on the memory controller than four, so XMP/EXPO runs at rated speeds without crashing. Four sticks look cooler but often force slower speeds or looser timings — you might drop from 3600 to 3000 MHz just to stay stable. Start with 2x16GB and add another kit later if you need 64GB. Future You will thank you for skipping the random crashes.
