16GB vs 32GB RAM: 32GB stops stutter for heavy multitaskers, not for pure gaming
32GB only helps if your stutter is RAM-limited. Most modern games run fine on 16GB alone, but if you keep Discord, Spotify, Chrome tabs, and overlays open while gaming, you’ll hit 12–14GB usage, forcing Windows to pagefile and stutter. 32GB gives headroom to avoid that swap, but won’t fix a weak CPU or GPU.
