Most people never actually max out 16GB — they just think they do because of caching. Check Task Manager: if you’re consistently over 90% usage, upgrade; if you’re at 60-70%, you won’t notice the difference. For gaming, 16GB is still the sweet spot; for 4K video editing or VMs, go 32GB. Save your money if it’s just Chrome and Spotify.
